Artist Interview Questions

  1. What is going on with you as an artist right now? How long have you been creating your art work, expressing your talents?

Currently I’m preparing to drop a totally original mixed tape with all original beats and music.

  1. What makes you worthy to be on stage at the SE 360 Music Festival?

I don’t know if I would use the word worthy, but I am grateful to have the opportunity to showcase my abilities on any stage that values good music and good business ethics.

  1. What is your biggest challenge as an artist, and how can the SE 360 Music Festival help you reach your goals?

I would have to say as an artist the biggest challenge, is the struggle of getting air play, and creating a brand that encompasses great music that is both interesting and different from the next rapper.

I’m the first underground artist in a wheelchair so my challenge is breaking down the barriers and the stero-types.

  1. Send us three artists who you may think would like to participate in the festival next year!

RockFish “Quan Phillips”

Rassi

  1. Name five true fans you would love to come to see you at the festival!

LaNae James

Camesha James

Wesley Banks

Quan Phillips

Robert Gibson

  1. Can you elaborate on your stage name, how that came to be?

DNice100 – The D comes naturally my nickname growing up and still is DJ, so I took the D … the Nice on the other hand, I felt like I was nice with everything that I touched, I have always been a really nice guy and a genuine person, I was nice with the ladies, on the courts balling, I was really just nice wit it. 100 came later on when I started going hard in the rap game since the number 100 is used in reference to keeping it real and I always keep it 100 whether it’s with my music or my personal life.

  1. Can you speak on your hottest song and video right now?

CERTIFIED- is my hottest joint that I’ve dropped the video for.

Yeah, in going hard on my latest mixtape with my own original sound and music.

10. Will you continue to touch on “real life” issues?

I reminisce when I rap, so all I know is real life past and present.
